Mother’s Day Walk at Fairhaven Woodland & Water Garden
Less than half an hour from Great Yarmouth, enjoy a guided tour through Fairhaven Woodland & Water Garden’s Spring garden, teeming with beautiful yellow primrose and daffodils along the way and wood anemones and camellias as well. Led by the Head Gardener, every mother receives their very own primrose. No need to book, this peaceful Sunday walk is included in garden entry to the site – perfect for Mother’s day in Norfolk!
Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea at the Imperial Hotel, Great Yarmouth
A real Mother’s Day delight, Afternoon Tea at the Imperial Hotel in Great Yarmouth, overlooking the seaside, is a delightful way to spend a Sunday afternoon. With a selection of homemade food, including quiche, sandwiches, and fruit scones with whipped cream and preserves and, of course, a warm beverage, what better Mother’s Day treat is there? £15 per person, or £21 with a glass of Prosecco included.

Bure Valley Railway
For a relaxing day out why not visit Bure Valley Railway this Mother’s Day? Whilst a little further afield from Great Yarmouth, this historic journey on their special train service for Mum’s on Sunday, including a lunch package is well worth the trip. The journey starts from Wroxham and takes a lovely route through 9 miles of beautiful Norfolk countryside to Aylsham, where a complimentary drink is received as well as a two-course lunch. To make it extra special, each Mum receives a small gift! Then, the train takes you back to Wroxham.
