Eating Out in Norfolk
Being within the Broads National Park, Norfolk has a great many delicious and beautiful places to enjoy a spot of lunch, or a lovely dinner out. Seacroft Holiday Village is within easy reach of several restaurants and pubs, and if they’re not on the riverside then they’re in beautiful Broads villages! Whilst we provide dinner for all of our guests at Seacroft, you may decide to venture out of Hemsby and try eating out in Norfolk, whether you’re looking for lunch or fancy eating out for dinner, there’s sure to be something to entice your taste buds!
Filby Bridge Restaurant, Filby
With a large a la carte menu featuring fresh fish, seafood, and sumptuous meat dishes, Filby Bridge Restaurant in the Great Yarmouth village of Filby has views as good as its views across the Trinity Broads. With a warm, relaxing atmosphere and fine dining, Filby Bridge Restaurant also has a range of fresh ground Italian coffees as well as pleasant sponge cakes.
The Boathouse, Ormesby St Michael
A truly stunning setting, The Boathouse at Omresby St Michael sits on the waterfront of Ormesby Broad. Recently refurbished, the Boathouse features intimate dining areas with a beautifully finished interior, as well as a long bar with large bay windows that look out onto the Broad, creating a special kind of atmosphere. The restaurant serves traditional country food and gastro specials in the evenings. There is also a Carvery on a Sunday.
The Ferry Inn, Stokesby
Set alongside the River Bure, The Ferry Inn at Stokesby benefits from picturesque Broads surroundings, as well as a delicious, freshly home-cooked menu. The inn features a lovely outdoor seating area next to the river, and the pub also has a games room with pool, darts, and a jukebox.
Moments Restaurant and Bar, Scratby
Probably the closest to Hemsby, Moments Restaurant and Bar is located in the quiet village of Scratby, and has been since 1999 when owner Cain Esherwood opened it. The restaurant and bar has a beautiful outside terrace area, complete with gorgeous landscaping and heating so you can enjoy this al fresco area all year long!
The Waterside, Rollesby
Another pub on the banks of the stunning Trinity Broads, the Waterside uses fresh and local ingredients to create light meals and afternoon teas, all prepared to order. With an outdoor decking for al fresco eating, as well as a Brunch, light lunch and homemade afternoon tea served all year round with Roast dinners on Sundays, this is a relaxing place to grab a bite to eat.
